DESCRIPTION:
C.1975, a repro Howard model 59-6, in walnut, with a C.1900 Howard 70 nickel plated mov't. This was made by Mr. Lee in Florida just as Howard repros were coming into vogue, and the quality is very fine; carved lower finials are exceptional, and he chose a nice piece of bird's eye maple for the baffle.
CONDITION:
excellent original condition. Although in another part of the sale, we have an original 59-6, this one is sure to attract attention for those needing a lower price point. Also with a signed E. Howard winding crank. Note iron weight was about a bit light and has been wrapped in lead to improve reliability; see detail foto. Ht 42"
